Events We Sponsor

PGS Carnival:
This completely Free event is has game booths, lunch, play equipment, and lots of fun for PGS families.

Family Fun Nights:
These free events are afternoons or evenings for families that can be as simple as showing a movie to as extravagant as a carnival. Recent events have included a Sock Hop, Ice Cream Social, and BINGO nights.

School Yearbook:
The PTA is responsible for the school yearbook which is produced at cost so that as many students as possible can get a copy.

Teacher / Staff Appreciation week:
In May we organize several activities to honor the staff at Peter G. Schmidt.

Volunteer Appreciation event:
At the end of the school year we organize this event to thank Peter G. Schmidt's volunteers for all of their time and dedication.

General Membership Meetings:
At these event the PTA invites speakers to talk about issues of concern to parents.

Classroom Snacks:
PTA purchase pretzels for the classrooms for children who either forget or can’t afford to bring a snack each day.
